NL Rookie Postseason Heroes.

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies are both out to a 2-0 game lead in their quest to win the 2007 National League Pennant. Surprising, it is two rookies that are leading the way. For the D-Backs, rookie outfielder Chris Young belted a 3-Run Homer in the second inning vs. the Cubs. The Rockies received an early blast from their rookie shortstop Troy Tulowitzki vs. Philly. Yes, they both have been hitting great, but they also have been spectacular in the field, both playing demanding postitions. Although the furute looks very bright for these two top NL rookies, the present looks pretty darn good too!

The 2007 Baseball Season has ended with a flurry. The Philadelphia Phillies had a historic pennant run. Behind a Cole Hamels dominating performance and reigning NL MVP Ryan Howard's massive HR's the Phillies erased a 7-game deficit to win the NL East Division. For the New York Mets, it was a major collapse. After leading their division for nearly the entire season, they picked the wrong time to get ice cold and not only missed out on winning their division, but could not hold onto the Wild Card berth either. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs were the other NL Division winners and will enter the '07 Post Season on a high note.

With only 5 days left in the 2007 MLB Regular Season, there is still a lot of baseball left to play. The Brewers, Rockies and Phillies are all on the outside looking in, but are starting to get red-hot. Milwaukee's MVP Candidate - Prince Fielder, at age 23, became the youngest player in Baseball History to hit 50 homers in one season. Colorado's Rookie Troy Tulowitzki clubbed his 23rd HR last night against the rival Dodgers, thus eliminating them from the Post Season. Reigning NL MVP - Ryan Howard has belted 5 Homers and tallied 12 RBIs in the past week and is doing his part to keep his Phillies' season alive.

Alfonso Soriano started off very slow, however, Soriano is now doing whatever one had expected. Soriano Hit 2 HR's on Saturday, his 11th in September, and along with Aramis Ramirez & Derrek Lee, the Cubs have taken a 2 1/2 game lead with only 7 games left. The Boston Red Sox, lead by Josh Beckett, David Ortiz & Jason Varitek, became the 1st team to clinch a playoff spot.

In Week 3 of the NFL some big match-ups include Peyton Manning & the Colts visiting Matt Schaub & the 2-0 Houston Texans, while Tomlinson, Rivers & Gates go to Green Bay & NFL's Winningest QB of All-Time - Bret Favre. The San Francisco Giants and Barry Bonds announced today that the All-Time Home Run Leader will not return to San Francisco in 2008. Bonds has said he'd like to continue his career, however, his knee troubles most likely will limit him to a DH role. Could this mean that Barry ends up being a Yankee in 2008 or would he stay in California in Oakland or Anaheim?

Matt Holliday continues to prove why he should be the NL MVP. Holliday's 6 HR's this week have kept the Rockies in the Playoff Hunt. It should be an exciting last week of the season with a lot of teams still fighting for the few playoff spots.

A Big Night For Some Big Hitters.

Jim Thome became the 23rd Member of Baseball's 500 Home Run Club. Thome did so in historic fashion as his 500th Homer was the first one to produce a walk-off victory for his team.

In Toronto, Frank Thomas (who hit his 500th Home Run in June) hit three homers in the Blue Jays' victory over the Red Sox. Thomas now has 512 Career Dingers and ties him on the All-Time List with the Legendary Ernie Banks and Eddie Mathews.

The Biggest Game in the Morning featured Carson Palmer throwing for 6 TD's & 401 yds with 2 TD & 120y connecting with Chad Johnson. However, it was Jamaal Lewis (TD, 215y)& the Browns that got the Win over the Bengals. Other Big Games inc., Steve Smith (3TD, 153y), A. Johnson (2TD, 120y), Peyton Manning (TD, 312y) & probably the most inspirational performance by Frank Gore (2 TD) in a big upset over the Rams, after Gore lost his mother this past week.

With only a few weeks left the Playoff Stretch is starting to really heat up. This week the Yankees continue to make a charge at the Red Sox. Yesterday, Josh Beckett & the Red Sox Bats dominated the Yankees a night after the Yankees stole a victory with a late comeback. Today it is 2 Veteran Future Hall of Famers gonig up against one another in a classic matchup with Curt Schilling & Roger Clemens.

Press Release: NAXCOM's adds Google to its New MultiMarketSelling Tool. (*More online marketplaces will be added including ThePit.com this coming summer).

NAXCOM.com's NEW MultiMarketLister (MML) Selling Tool, now allows users to have their items listed on Multiple Sites simultaneously. MML, which currently synchronizes a users eBay Storefront with their NAXCOM account, has just added Google. Seller's listings on NAXCOM will automatically be advertised on Google for Free. Seller's do not need a Google Store, instead NAXCOM links their listings to Google where potential buyers see their items. When they click on them they are linked back to NAXCOM, where they can then purchase the items.

Other sites that will soon be added to MML, include ThePit.com (July), eBay Auctions & NAXCOM's New Auction System debuting this summer. For users on ThePit, this means that soon you'll be able to list any of your holdings on ThePit with the other sites offered through MML. When it sells on any one of the sites, the listing will automatically decrement (if not the full quantity) or be removed (if the full quantity) from all of the other sites instantaneously.

To celebrate this revolutionary new tool, NAXCOM (the owner of ThePit.com) is hosting s Special Grand Opening Event. The event just started on June 18th and over the next 30 days, MML Sellers will get the opportunity to win over $4000 in prizes, including an offer for an '86-'87 Fleer Michael Jordan PSA 9 or an all expense trip to the '07 Cleveland or '08 Chicago National. Go to MultiMarketLister.com or NAXCOM.com for all of the details or to synchronize your NAXCOM Selling Account & an eBay Storefront.

*Please note: if you do not currently sell on NAXCOM or have an eBay Storefront, links are provided on information about selling on either one of the two sites.

ThePit.com forms partnership with Baseball America.

The partnership will begin in early February with an exchange of advertising and promotions between the two sites. Baseball America, which gives the most in depth coverage on future stars and prospects, and ThePit.com, which focuses on the buying and selling of today's top stars and prospects, compliment each other very nicely. ThePit will be able to advertise to a large group of baseball enthusiasts on the Baseball America site, while Baseball America will be able to advertise to those who need the Baseball America in-depth information to help them with who to speculate on. Look for each site to begin its advertising and promoting of the other site in early February.

Press Release (January 10, 2007). Today, Major League Baseball and NAXCOM.com/ThePit.com "Sportscard Marketplaces" formed a partnership in which the bulk of ThePit.com baseball card inventory will be placed for sale on the MLB.com Marketplace.

"This is a great opportunity for ThePit.com and all of the Baseball Cards listed in ThePit.com Marketplace," said Eric Beckerman - CEO of NAXCOM/ThePit. "Because ThePit.com focuses on having large quantities of the top Rookie Cards of the top stars and prospects, ThePit's inventory is a perfect fit for the MLB.com Marketplace," Beckerman continued.

ThePit.com now has a little over 10% of its Baseball Card inventory listed on MLB.com with much more to be added in the near future. "We are very excited about what this MLB partnership will do for sales of ThePit.com Baseball Card products. ThePit.com & NAXCOM.com will also receive a lot of brand exposure as well, so it's a win-win for us." commented Bill Elder - VP of Marketing for NAXCOM/ThePit. "When we acquired ThePit.com from the Topps Company, we knew that we had to add more sales venues to get this incredibly unique amount of inventory in front of more collectors," continued Elder. "This relationship with MLB.com will be a big step in the right direction."

In its first few days, ThePit.com has already received quite a bit of sales. As more items from ThePit.com are added to MLB.com, and especially as Baseball Season gets closer, those that use ThePit.com are bound to see their baseball card portfolio increase significantly.

"Because there are so many baseball fans on the MLB.com site and because ThePit.com's inventory, the demand for ThePit items will grow substantially. This will not only create more liquidity, but will also increase the values of the baseball cards available on ThePit," said Kevin Klein - Business Development for NAXCOM/ThePit.
