On Thursday, Tony Romo continued his stellar play throwing for 5 TD passes. His Chrome RC jumped $37 to a new high of $79. Also, Jay Cutler's Chrome Rookie jumped 108% to $13.50 after it was speculated that he would get the start for Denver next week. Two other Rookies, Joseph Addai's Chrome Rookie has now jumped over 150% to $9.85 after his very impressive 4 TD's on Sunday night while Vince Young's Chrome jumped 60% after he led the Titans to a big comeback win vs the Giants.

After another successful start Tony Roomo's cards on ThePit continue to hit new 52-week Highs. Romo's Chrome Uncirculated Rookie is now up well over 10,000% after a low of .20 only a few months ago to a new high of $28.
ThePit has added a new feature that allows users to drop ship their items they own on ThePit to another address.
This new feature allows users to sell their item(s) on their own site, their NAXCOM VIP Storefront or any other marketplace they sell on. Then when the item sells, users can request that the shipment be sent directly to their buyers (US Only).
The normal S/H fees will still be applied. Users can request items to be dropped shipped when they request shipping on cards in their account. A choice is now given to ship the item to the address on file or for the item to be drop shipped to another location.

Changes In Fees Have Now Gone Into Effect!
When NAXCOM acquired ThePit.com from the Topps Company, one of the issues that NAXCOM repeatedly heard from Pit Users were the fees needed to be adjusted on the deposit fees and the lower to mid priced transactions. Beginning on 8/22 at 12pm (PDT) the following new fees will be implemented.
All Deposit Fees (Currently 2%) when making a purchase and funding an account will be eliminated. Fees on Buying, Selling From In Account and Selling Not In Account (SNIA) will be reduced by as much as 12% on transactions below $20.00. Buying Fees under $75 will be reduced up to 2%. To compensate for all of the lower fees, seller fees from in account will be raised between ½% & 2% on sales over $25 and fees from Selling not in account will be raised between ½% to 2.5% on transactions over $20. (See Below)

Most of the fees are being lowered because it is believed that this will greatly increase the number of transactions, especially on the buying end. The elimination of the deposit fees and the decrease in the buying fees under $75.00 should increase the liquidity on the site because users will now have more buying power. It is therefore projected that the increase in transactions will help offset the lower fees. Another means to offset the elimination of the deposit fees and the lowering of other fees will be to add banner ads. A maximum of one ad per page will be added to the very bottom of the pages.
Shipping Prices:
Shipping Prices will remain the same except for Next Day Air. Next Day Air will be changed from $25 to $29 and .35/card to .40/card.
Inactive Accounts:
Many accounts on ThePit.com have Balances but have not had activity in them for as much as six years. Due to the need to warehouse items and carry insurance, ThePit/NAXCOM cannot continue to hold these balances indefinitely. Therefore, accounts that have not bought or sold an item within the past 2 years will be “Inactive.” Two additional notices will be sent to users whose accounts will be changed to “Inactive,” in which they will have 30 days to cash out their balance or buy/sell an item to keep their account “Active.”
*Please note: Once an account has been changed to inactive, the user may still contact the company to have their account changed back to “Active.”

Never before in the history of the Sports Collectibles Industry have collectors been able to obtain swatches of a jersey commemorating the draft directly from the player.
The title of these Draft Day Swatch Phototickets are “Moment of Transition” and will memorialize the exact moment that these three players transition from a great collegiate career to their professional career. Game Exclusives have selected PSA to authenticate and encase the items and have also selected NAXCOM.com & ThePit.com as the Online Marketplace to offer the limited edition item for sale.
Item Description:
The Swatch PhotoTickets will be an oversized Super Bowl style commemorative ticket representing each player’s draft day moment when they are selected. Each player’s PhotoTicket, will have a swatch cut from their commemorative draft jersey held by the player and will be time stamped, day, hour, moment that the team announces their pick. These exclusive swatches will be limited to 2006 and will be encased by PSA in a special serial #’d holder. With such a large group of young stars, 2006 is starting off to be a very exciting year for collectors. Ryan Howard, Rickie Weeks, David Wright, Grady Sizemore, Jeremy Hermida, Jeff Franceour and Felix Hernandez are just a few of the young stars with big expectations this year. In addition, 2006 also has one of the largest groups of rookies in a very long time?
